Master hand engraver Steve Lindsay has this to say about his friend and colleague Tiz Pozzobon: "I believe Tiz to be one of the greatest engravers living today. His bulino dot work shows he is one of the top two engravers in the world (the other bulino master lives in Italy). Tiz has made bulino work for him in ways that I wouldn't know how to start doing. He plays with the dots and the burs, understanding and manipulating the reflected light so that from different directions the engraving marks appear black, or as shades of gray - he doesn't use inks dyes or paints in his work - all he needs is dots and light to create his images"
